I had the Miller family who recently stayed at Violino d’Oro. They absolutely loved their stay! They said the staff and service was one of the best they ever experienced. What stood out to them (and me!) particularly was being able to send a WhatsApp message while they were wandering in Venice to ask advice on a good restaurant AND to have a reservation made for them as they were out and about. WOW!! That is incredible service. They gave major high marks for the hotel’s breakfast. They were shocked at the array of options.

I arranged private water taxis in Venice for this family of 5 which included assistance with their bags at the airport upon arrival and at the train station when they headed to Florence. We arranged private guided experiences for them, since it was their first time in Venice & Florence. This allowed them to make the most of their time. Plus they had plenty of free time to explore on their own.

I sent them with my Italy Restaurant recommendations collected over 25+ years in the business. They received my European Tipping Guide. They felt very comfortable and confident traveling in Europe after the phone conversations we had and knowing I was here if they had a question.
